Reasons to Visit the Q-Center
The Quantitative Center is a destination for student support in BiHall! The “Q”-Center is located on the first and second floor, and it is available for long hours Sunday through Friday.
You are invited to use the Q-center to:
- Study in one of the open spaces or in the Quiet Study Room
- Groups of students are welcome to use the Q-Center, regardless of if you are attending a tutoring session. It is an excellent space for group studying and projects!
- Use the computer lab on the first floor of the Q-center
- Request general quantitative support from a Q-STEM tutor (this includes support in excel or other software)
- Attend specific topic STEM help sessions offered during the semester
- Attend special software help sessions offered during the semester
Some STEM courses also offer:
- Scheduled weekly course-specific study group led by a Q-center tutor
- Course-specific drop-in tutoring sessions
- One-on-one with a course-specific tutor provided by the Q-Center
- Faculty office hours may be held in the Q-Center
Location and Hours
We are located in McCardell Bicentennial Hall (MBH 202). Check the for our location. The entrance to the Q-Center is on the 2nd floor.
- Upper Level: Main desk, collaborative group study space, drop-in peer tutoring for STEM courses, faculty and TA office hours, events and workshops, staff offices, kitchen, conference rooms, and printer
- Lower Level: Quiet study room, collaborative group study spaces, classrooms, rooms for small group work and tutoring, faculty offices, office hour space, computer lab, and restrooms

Foundational Support Resources
The Q-Center is actively working to develop a full range of foundational support resources for all students, including:

Tutoring
Tutoring is available to assist students in a wide variety of STEM and quantitative subjects. These services are free of charge to Middlebury College students. Learn more
