Supporting You
Our goal is to develop and maintain the best possible websites for you, our visitors, and the institution as a whole. We do that with a focus on the following areas:
An Accessible Website
We adhere to the so that our websites can be used by everybody.
Ease for Editors
We work closely with web editors as needed to provide the training and tools necessary to feel successful. See more at Self-Service below.
Self-Service
We encourage editors to manage and maintain their own web work with on everything from to , and we offer as needed.
Clear Design
We work hard to make sure our websites should be easy to navigate, straightforward in purpose, and form a cohesive whole with other institutional sites.
Everywhere, Any Device
You can view our websites on a laptop, tablet, phone, watch, scoreboard, or any number of things in between. We optimize for performance.
Stability and Security
We strive to keep our websites available and have back-up plans for when that’s not possible. We keep them secure through regular maintenance and clear direction about their appropriate use.
User Privacy
The website does not collect unnecessary information. When using third party tracking and analytics services, we have a defined business objective and examine what is collected.
An Extensible System
Going through constant website migrations and redesigns is difficult for everyone involved. We’ve created a platform that we can extend year-after-year rather than reinvent every five or ten years.
Transparency
We want to be open about the work we do. Each quarter, we email and post a website update, and we encourage you to read it and share with your team.
