Athletics Team Practices

Fall varsity sports teams will start outdoor practices and workouts with coaches and other athletics staff on September 5. Spring teams will begin practices on September 12 and winter teams on October 15.

Fall Athletic Competition

We write today to confirm the disappointing but expected news that we will not be able to hold athletic competitions during the fall semester.
Middlebury Statement on Fall Athletics

The NESCAC presidents released a joint earlier today announcing that NESCAC competition for 2020 fall sports will be canceled due to ongoing concerns around COVID-19. As a result, there will be no scheduled NESCAC competitions or championships. Individual institutions do, however, have the discretion to organize practices and to consider alternate competitions, dependent on state and local health guidelines.
