On May 25-26, the Monterey Trialogue convened 13 American, Russian, and Chinese experts in Belgrade, Serbia to investigate the three countries¡¯ intersecting interests in the Arctic. Topics included energy, security, international law, transit, and climate change. The Trialogue also hosted a closed door conversation with a Serbian minister to discuss the country’s efforts to maintain friendly relations with the USA, Russia, and China.
