The college provides for all faculty, staff, and students.
I think my computer has a virus; what should I do?
The first step is to try to remove the threat from your computer with a Virus Scan.
All college-owned computers come with installed for threat removal. For college-owned computers, please immediately inform us of the suspected threat for further assistance using the methods listed above. We will remove malware from Middlebury-owned devices.
While we are not able to remove viruses from personally-owned devices, we can advise you while you do so.
I received a suspicious email; what do I do?
Never respond to emails asking for personal information such as passwords. The College will never ask for this type of information in an email.
While the College does have spam filters, some phishing emails may still reach your inbox. If you receive an email you suspected is phishing, please forward it to phishing@middlebury.edu for review by our . Refer to Information Security’s Phishing webpage to learn more.
