Dean of Faculty Sujata Moorti will be holding a meeting on Monday, December 13 at 10 am with DLINQ and CTLR representatives to discuss strategies for conducting exams online (see email announcement from 12/10 at 5:14 pm for the Zoom link). The meeting will be recorded for those who cannot attend. Digital Learning and Inquiry (DLINQ) has also shared a list of Canvas options and resources that may help in transitioning your final assessments online.

Moving Exams or Final Work Online

If you are not already using a digital approach for finals, DLINQ recommends using Canvas.  if you want further assistance or guidance.

Canvas offers:

  • A Quizzes tool that offers several question options (multiple choices, etc.), which can be used to create final exams.
  • An Assignments tool that allows students to upload and submit assignments like papers and projects.
  • Speedgrader, which allows you to grade and comment on assignments and open-ended exam questions.

If you have not yet used Canvas to offer an exam or grade student work, here are a few resources to help:
