As COVID-19 has become endemic, Middlebury has resumed normal operations, while continuing core health and safety measures to minimize the potential of its spread. Students, faculty, and staff should follow , state health department guidance, and their healthcare providers’ advice for prevention and treatment of the virus.

Vaccination Policy
COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended, rather than required. You are encouraged to bring a copy of your entire immunization record with you or have rapid access to a digital copy. In the unlikely event of an outbreak, you may be asked to show evidence of vaccination for illnesses such as COVID-19, Measles, Mumps, and /or Varicella. Documented proof of immunity against measles is now required for all students, faculty and staff to mitigate against the possibility of immediate campus exclusion during a measles outbreak. Pre-arrival and Campus Requirements
Please minimize possible exposure to COVID, measles and other illnesses before your arrival and do your best not to bring viruses to campus. Students are encouraged to bring rapid antigen tests, thermometers, masks or other healthcare items. COVID rapid antigen tests and surgical masks will be available for purchase at campus retail locations.
Our campuses are mask friendly and mask optional. Decisions around masking should be based on for COVID-19 and other illnesses. Masks are available for purchase at campus retail locations as well as local pharmacies and web-based suppliers. Individuals always have the option of bringing or shipping their preferred mask to campus. Test kits for individuals are available for purchase at local pharmacies, online, and/or through off-campus healthcare provider offices. Individuals always have the option of bringing or shipping their preferred test kit to campus. Students may need to recover in place depending on the situation even if they have a roommate.
