About the Competition

The Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge is the world’s premier cyber policy and strategy competition. Students form teams of three to four and respond to a fictional cyber crisis scenario with significant implications for national security, public policy, and diplomacy. Teams present their policy recommendations to a panel of expert judges from government, industry, and civil society, who provide feedback and an in-depth evaluation.

This is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students from all academic disciplines to develop key skills in policy analysis, strategic thinking, and effective communication. Participants will also have the chance to network with leading cybersecurity professionals and potential employers.

• Competitors: The competition is open to students with an interest in cybersecurity, public policy, crisis management, or related fields.
• Coaches & Judges: We’re looking for professionals to serve as coaches and judges. This is a great way to engage with the next generation of cyber experts.
