Associate Professor Philipp Bleek and Zak Kallenborn published “Fellowship of the Drone” with . This article discusses the extant and potential CBRN implications of emerging drone swarm technology, identifying both novel threats and opportunities for bolstering defenses.

Applications of drone swarm technology that were until recently the domain of science fiction are or are soon likely to become reality. Although this technology can be used for wicked purposes, countermeasures for these attacks utilizing drone technology can also be developed. Bleek and Kallenborn call for government action to lower risks and leverage opportunities.
