is the author of Green Deen: What Islam Teaches About Protecting the Planet and is the co-founder ofg, a New York based management firm that works with individuals and organizations committed to equity and justice. 

 is a permaculture expert who has taught and assisted in projects all around the globe. Currently he serves as a consultant with United Designers International, a Supervisory Board member of Ecosystem Restoration Camps Foundation, and as a Trustee and Implementation Team member at Plant for Peace Foundation (UK).
