Cheswayo Mphanza ’16 recently released a book of poetry, The Rinehart Frames, which won the African Poetry Book Foundation’s 2020 Sillerman First Book Prize for African Poets and was lauded an “”&Բ; Publishers Weekly. The title references works by Ralph Ellison and Iranian photographer and director Abbas Kiarostami, while the poems engage with a range of other artists and historical figures.
